The Finnish Defence Forces (FDF) have awarded Patria Hägglunds an additional about EUR 120 million order for the delivery of another 45 CV9030 infantry fighting vehicles. The vehicles will be delivered over the years of 2006 – 2007.
FDF selected CV9030 FIN from Patria Hägglunds Oy as the Infantry Fighting Vehicle of the Finnish Land Forces in the end of year 2000. The project consists of 57 vehicles, of which 28 vehicles have already been delivered to the Finnish customer.

- The fact that the Finnish Defence Forces decided to place the additional order shows that our product fulfils the very tough Finnish customer demands as well as those of the harsh environment of the country. CV9030 FIN represents field proven state-of-the-art technology adjusted to the needs of the coming decades, says Mr Vesa Vuorenpää, President of Patria Hägglunds.
Sweden, Norway and Switzerland have previously selected CV90 as their Infantry Fighing Vehicle; almost 1000 CV90's are or will be in use in Europe in the near future.
